Dr. Christian Boukaram
Dr. Boukaram is a Radiation Oncologist at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. He obtained his Medical Degree at the University of Montreal and completed a fellowship in Cyberknife and IGRT technique at Centre Antoine-Lacassagne, France. Dr. Boukaram is also a Professor at the University of Montreal in Integrative Medicine and Oncology.
In 2011, Dr. Boukaram wrote a best-seller book entitled “Healer of Cancer: The Power of the Mind” which was published in 4 languages and received international success. Dr. Boukaram also co-founded the CROIRE Fund, a non-profit Fund supported by the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Foundation, providing psychological and social support to cancer patients and their loved ones.
He has won numerous prizes in Radiation Oncology and has a strong passion for cancer prevention. He is the Cofounder of the Axis for Integrative Medicine at the University of Montreal and served as the Co-Chair of the Education Committee for the SIO (Society for Integrative Oncology) from 2011 to 2015.
Dr. Santosh Rao
Dr. Rao serves as the Medical Director of Integrative Medicine for Banner MD Anderson. He obtained his Medical Degree at the University of Michigan and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California in San Diego. He also completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Rao is passionate about incorporating Integrative Oncology and Cancer Prevention in cancer care and completed an Associate Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in 2006. He currently serves as the co-chair for the Clinical Practice Committee for the Society of Integrative Oncology, teaches Integrative Medicine fellows at the University of Arizona and is a leading contributor to education modules for the cancer curriculum.
